I want to stress that I think the voice actors all did a really good job here but you just don’t see any of them enough to get engaged in the story. This isn’t helped by the overall plot progression as you never spend enough time with any particular character to get properly invested in what happens to them.
The story is pretty weak, leaving the voice actors to do most of the heavy lifting from scene to scene. That said, I do have a few major criticisms that you should be aware of. Whether you prefer a methodical approach to taking out your enemies or a chaotic guns blazing one, you’re going to have fun with this game.
